Project challenge
The exhibition hall needs to balance the display effect of artworks and wall durability. Traditional coatings and putty are easy to reflect light, show dirt, and are difficult to create natural textures with a cultural atmosphere. At the same time, the exhibition hall has a large foot traffic, which has high requirements for wall wear resistance, moisture resistance and fire resistance. It is also expected that the wall itself has certain artistic expression, rather than simply serving as a background.
Applied solution
Selected "Pacific Golden Stone Series" rammed earth texture (HD-KD-HJS-2405Y, yellow).
Adopt Kunde 145# marble mineral fire-resistant and impermeable two-component Huanglong Stone system for construction.
The natural and rough rammed earth texture is presented by handcraft, which makes the wall have distinct layers, combines natural attributes and cultural connotation, and forms an overall spatial atmosphere with wooden floors, track spotlights and exhibited paintings.
Project results
The wall presents a natural and rough rammed earth texture, with warm and calm yellow tone and rich layers
It will not steal the spotlight of the works when used as an exhibition background, and can enhance the cultural temperament of the space
The system has fire resistance and impermeability, wear resistance and dirt resistance, which is suitable for high foot traffic exhibition hall environment
The overall space is more calm and textured, and the exhibition effect has been improved
We hope that the exhibition hall wall itself has a sense of culture, but not too prominent to overshadow the paintings. After this rammed earth product is completed, the texture is very natural, the color is also stable, the layers are very rich when the spotlights hit it, and the audience feedback that the space has a better atmosphere.
