Project challenge
The large-area curved ceilings and walls of the high-speed railway station need to meet the requirements of aesthetics, weather resistance, fire and seepage resistance, and easy maintenance at the same time. Traditional coatings are prone to color difference, cracking or dust accumulation on long-span curved surfaces, and it is difficult to form a uniform texture effect. The project hopes to improve the spatial sense of transparency and artistry through wall/ceiling treatment, while adapting to the usage environment of high foot traffic and high humidity.
Applied solution
Selected "Embossed Series" spray dot texture (KD-HD-FD-2401W, Moon White).
Adopt Kunde 145# marble mineral fire and seepage resistant two-component Moon White system for construction.
The spray dot process forms a delicate and uniform embossed texture on the curved surface structure, so that the ceiling and wall present soft light and shadow changes under natural light and artificial lighting, and form overall coordination with the platform, trains and building curves.

There are many curved surfaces in the station hall, so we were worried that the coating would have color difference or get dirty easily. After the construction of this spray dot product, it is very uniform and the color is also very clean. There are subtle layer changes when natural light hits it during the day, and the overall effect is more transparent than expected.
